Geometric logic underlying the plan of our Bramlett Road House project.
A series of linear volumes, each housing a distinct program, are linked into a simple composition. This geometry extends into the landscape, maintaining clarity, simplicity, and cohesion.
That simplicity, however, belies the complexities of orchestrating its layout. The underlying logic guides every move from the building’s form to the finish patterns for cohesion across elements.

Staircase detail from our gut renovation of a duplex at Worldwide Plaza. The stair features stained solid white oak treads, a custom-crafted white oak handrail with concealed hardware, and a white polished plaster wall. Above, a backlit glass ceiling inset highlights the stair and adds a soft, atmospheric glow.

Floor plans for the renovation of a historic Brooklyn townhouse, originally built in 1901 and located in Clinton Hill.
We converted this two-family building into a 1,700 sq ft single-family home for a young family — opening up the interior, reconfiguring the bedrooms, redesigning the backyard, and replacing old structural supports — all while respecting the home’s original character.

Design development for the living room in our Central Park South project focusing on a refined material palette and integrated functionality.
The built-in bar provides additional functionality, while the millwork at the media wall conceals mechanical systems, maintaining a seamless architectural expression. We worked closely with our clients to develop a restrained composition of white plaster, oak, black marble, glass, and bronze to create a balance of warm richness and sleek precision.

We love an impactful foyer.
At our Hudson River Valley House project the front door opens to a view of the internal courtyard landscaped with birch, ferns, moss, and a dark granite reflecting pool. Directly ahead, the open, double-height living room features an oversized picture window with views of the landscape and forest beyond.

Material palette development—a process that’s both fun and challenging. With endless possibilities, the goal is to strike the perfect balance.
We’re crafting a contemporary design with bright spaces that feel inviting, not sterile, and moody spaces that feel rich, not heavy. It’s all about finding harmony in contrast.

Foyer design for an apartment renovation we’re currently working on—an intimate, moody entry wrapped in a dark, soft, acoustically absorptive material. A slim cove light subtly defines this quiet threshold before it opens into the bright living space with Central Park views.

Passed this countless times but recently found it open. The simple circle-in-a-square geometry naturally draws the eye to the center. Here, it’s expressed in a historical style, but we’ve used the same idea in a completely different context—more on that in future posts.

We used a singular, narrow light cove along the perimeter that draws one one in and unifies the irregular shape of the open living spaces. The low-profile cove provides warm, even illumination while preserving the ceiling height
